Amy L. Bernstein (she/hers) writes stories that let readers feel while asking them to think. Her novels include The Potrero Complex, The Nighthawkers, and Dreams of Song Times. She is an award-winning journalist, playwright, and certified nonfiction book coach. Her literary preoccupations include putting ordinary people in difficult situations to see how they wriggle out.

Maryland-born, Brooklyn-based Randee Dawn is the author of the humorous fantasy Tune in Tomorrow. She writes about showbiz for the LA Times, Variety and Today.com, is the co-author of The Law & Order: SVU Unofficial Companion and the co-editor of Across the Universe: Tales of Alternative Beatles.

Searby Gray is the pseudonym for Sherri Woosley. Ashes of Regret is the newest novel in her Misbegotten Series, a dark fantasy in which Mesopotamian gods return, bringing magic, destruction, and mayhem. In regards to the series, Booklist said, “Woosley gets off to a running start…and she draws on a mix of mythology and religious allusions to create a postapocalyptic world caught in a battle for control and power.” More information about the series can be found at www.mudhousepublishing.com.

Alan Smale won the Sidewise Award plus an additional nomination for his tales of a Roman invasion of ancient America (Clash of Eagles, Eagle in Exile, Eagle and Empire, PRH/Del Rey). He has sold 40+ stories to Asimov’s and a variety of other magazines and anthologies, and his alternate-Apollo novel, Hot Moon, was launched by CAEZIK in mid-2022.
