This second-edition version of "I-Love-Me Poetry: the Beauty of Black" is a joyful (and sometimes sobering) celebration of women of color and our God-given identity. Edition 2 includes thirteen (13) additional poems that were written specifically for this project, bringing the total number of pieces to thirty-five (35). Nneka Edwards is a prolific poet from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. She speaks several languages, and her love of language colors the musicality of her 'wordsmith-ing.' She has been writing poetry as a hobby since 2001, and published her first book in 2012.
